Technical Writer- Medical Devices

Hilco Vision is currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer. The Technical Write will create and maintain technical documentation for an important project and M&S’ full product line. Documentation must adhere to ISO 13485 and MDR guidelines. They will create technical documentation for the full software life cycle.

This role will be for local candidates, on site in our Niles, IL office.

A little bit about you:

• 4-6 years of experience in the technical writing space, specifically within the medical device or healthcare industry
• Proficiency in documentation tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Written technical documentation skills, done under proper regulatory guidelines
• Design History Files, Manuals, DICOM Conformance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  
  

What you'll do and how you'll make an impact:

• Ensure all technical documentation including, but not limited to, manuals, Design History Files (DHF), DICOM Conformance Statement are created and adhere to regulatory standards for project and M&S products.
• Collaborating with subject matter experts and product teams to ensure documentation is created correctly.
• Editing and proofreading all new and current technical files.
• Working with the software engineering team on multiple products concurrently.
