JOB SUMMARY:

Job Summary: Virtix Health is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative Operations Trainer – Technical Writer & Documentation Specialist to lead the creation and delivery of training and documentation that supports operational goals and objectives. This role combines technical writing, instructional content development, and training facilitation to new hires and existing employees. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and facilitator, capable of translating complex information into user-friendly materials and engaging training sessions for diverse audiences. This role works cross-functionally with subject matter experts, operations, IT, and training teams to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Training Content Development

  • Design and develop learning materials such as facilitator/learner guides, presentations, eLearning modules, quick reference tools, and job aids.
  • Ensure content supports both synchronous (instructor-led) and asynchronous (self-paced) training formats.
  • Translate technical or operational workflows into instructional content tailored to target users.
  • Apply adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.

Technical Writing & Documentation

  • Create, edit, and maintain SOPs, user manuals, workflow documents, FAQs, and internal process guides.
  • Ensure consistency in language, formatting, tone, and style across all materials.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable documentation for varied audiences.

Content & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain a centralized, well-organized repository of documentation and training materials (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).
  • Ensure version control, tagging, and accessibility standards are followed.
  • Archive outdated materials and regularly update content to reflect workflow or system changes.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Review all materials for clarity, grammar, consistency, and technical accuracy.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and documentation usability through learner feedback and performance data.
  • Make continuous improvements to content and delivery based on user insights and organizational needs.

Training Delivery

  • Facilitate instructor-led training (virtual and in-person) to new hires and existing employees.
  • Adapt delivery methods and materials to meet the needs of different audiences and learning styles.
  • Provide one-on-one or group coaching to reinforce knowledge and support skill development.
  • Collect learner feedback during and after training sessions to assess understanding and improve future delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in training delivery, technical writing, or instructional content development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Visio, and content management tools like SharePoint or Confluence.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and eLearning tools such as Articulate, Rise, Camtasia, or SnagIt.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and visual communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a learner-first mindset and commitment to clarity and accuracy for continuous learning improvement to drive continuous improvement and meet operational goals.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute multiples training initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, build strong cross-functional relationships, and clearly convey complex information in both written and verbal formats.
  • Highly adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
