Technical Writer

Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and processes. You will join a team of talented engineers who work collaboratively with product managers, test engineers, quality engineers, and usability experts to make our products and processes easier to use.

Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States

Pay Rate is between $20.00  to  $23.00  

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create or revise product SOPs for RMA work.

Creates, edits, and publishes documentation related to products, services, and processes.

Analyze existing and potential SOPs, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.

Researches topics, writes documents, and edits their work for publication.

Communicates complex technical information in a clear and concise manner – Written and visually.

Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.

Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.

Create and maintain the information architecture.

Other assignments as needed to support overall business needs.
